REPUBLIC OF VANUATU

EXPORT DUTIES (AMENDMENT) ACT
NO. 15 OF 1994

An Act to amend the Export Duties Act [CAP. 31].

BE IT ENACTED by the President and Parliament as follows: -

AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE 1 TO CHAPTER 31

1. The Export Duties Act [CAP. 31] is amended in Schedule 1 as follows -

(a) by deleting the figure "4%" in the column headed "Ad Valorem Duty Rate" corresponding to the item "Copra" in paragraph "(1)" of the column headed "Goods and Products", and substituting the figure "3%";

(b) by deleting the figure "7%" in the column headed "Ad Valorem Duty Rate" corresponding to the item "Cocoa" in paragraph "(2)" of the column headed "Goods and Products", and substituting the figure "3%";

(c) by deleting the figure "2%" in the column headed "Ad Valorem Duty Rate" corresponding to the item "Meat, chilled or frozen" in paragraph "(4)" of the column headed "Goods and Products", and substituting the figure "3%".

COMMENCEMENT

2. This Act shall come into force on the 1st day of January, 1995.
