DEBITS TAX (AMENDMENT) ACT
NO. 14 OF 2003

An Act to amend the Debits Tax Act No. 26 of 2002

Be it enacted by the President and Parliament as follows-

1 Amendments

The Debits Tax Act No. 26 of 2002 is amended as set out in the Schedule.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on 1 July 2003 immediately after the commencement of the Debits Tax Act No. 26 of 2002.

1. Schedule (Item 1 of Debits Tax Amounts Table)
   

Delete “9,999”, substitute “10,000”.

2. Schedule (Item 2 of Debits Tax Amounts Table)
   

Delete “49,999”, substitute “50,000”.

3. Schedule (Item 3 of Debits Tax Amounts Table)
   

Delete “99,999”, substitute “100,000”.

4. Schedule (Item 4 of Debits Tax Amounts Table)
   

Delete “499,999”, substitute “500,000”.

5. Schedule (Item 5 of Debits Tax Amounts Table)
   

Delete “999,999”, substitute “1,000,000”.

6. Schedule (Item 6 of Debits Tax Amounts Table)
   

Delete “4,999,999”, substitute “5,000,000”.
