An act to amend the Cheque Tax Act [CAP 181]

Be it enacted by the President and Parliament as follows-

1 Amendment

The Cheque Tax Act [CAP 181] is amended as set out in the Schedule.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on 1 January 2002.

1. Section 2

Delete “VT 10”, substitute “VT 13”.

Explanatory Note

The Bill amends the Cheque Tax Act [CAP 181] to increase the tax payable under that Act from VT 10 per cheque to VT 13 per cheque.
