CASINO CONTROL (AMENDMENT) ACT

NO. 4 OF 2001

An Act to amend the Casino Control Act No. 6 of 1993.

Be it enacted by the President and Parliament as follows –

1 Amendments

The Casino Control Act No. 6 of 1993 is amended as set out in the Schedule.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on 1st July 2001.

1 Paragraph 13(1)(b)

Delete "10 percent", substitute "15 percent".

Explanatory Note

This Bill amends the Casino Control Act No. 6 of 1993.

It increases the casino tax from 10% to 15%.
