1 Amendment

The Customs Act No. 15 of 1999 is amended as set out in the Schedule.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on the date on which it is published in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE

AMENDMENTS OF THE CUSTOMS ACT
NO. 15 OF 1999

1 After paragraph 102(1)(e)

Insert

“(ea) subsection 31(10); or

(eb) subsection 32(5); or

(ec) subsection 36(4); or

(ed) subsection 38(2); or”

2 Subsection 102(2)

Delete “which must not exceed the maximum penalty specified by this Act or the regulations for the offence.”, substitute “, being the amount prescribed by the regulations which must not exceed the maximum penalty specified by this Act for the offence.”.
