TETANUS (CONTROL)
To
control
tetanus.
DESTRUCTION
ETC., OF CARCASE
1. Every person having the charge or control of an animal whose death has been caused by tetanus shall forthwith thereafter completely incinerate the carcase thereof, and shall then disinfect the site of such incineration with a 5 per cent solution of chloride of lime or of cresyl.
POWER
OF LIVESTOCK SERVICE
2. Such incineration and destruction may be carried out by the Government Livestock Service at the request of the person concerned, who shall pay the cost of the materials and labour involved.
PENALTY
3. Any person committing a breach of this Act shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding VT30,000.
