AN ACT TO AMEND THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT

BE IT ENACTED by the King and Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1 Short Title

(1) This Act may be cited as the Public Service (Amendment) Act 2015.

(2) In this Act, the Public Service Act 2002 as amended, shall be referred to as the Principal Act.

2 Schedule amended

Part 1 of Schedule I of the Principal Act is amended –

(a) in paragraph 3, by inserting the words "and Tourism" after the word "Infrastructure";

(b) in paragraph 8, by deleting the following ", Tourism"; and

(c) by deleting paragraph 15 and replacing it with the following –

"15 Ministry of Meteorology, Energy, Information, Disaster Management, Environment, Communications and Climate Change".
