AN ACT

TO AMEND THE PUBLIC ENTERPRISES ACT 2002

[2nd October, 2006.]

BE IT ENACTED by the King and Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Public Enterprises (Amendment) Act 2006.

(2) The Public Enterprises Act 2002 is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

2. Section 2 of the Principal Act is amended, in the definition of the term "Minister", by deleting the words "Minister of Finance" and substituting with "Minister for Public Enterprises;".

Passed by the Legislative Assembly this 2nd day of October, 2006.

(2) 'Oku ui 'a e Lao ki he Ngaahi Pisinisi 'a e Pule'anga 2002 'i he Lao ni ko e Tefito'i Lao.

2. 'Oku fakatonutonu 'a e kupu 2 'o e Tefito'i Lao, 'i he 'uhinga 'o e lea "Minisita", 'aki hono tamate'i 'a e ngaahi lea "Minisita Pa'anga" pea fetongi'aki 'a e "Minisita ki he Ngaahi Pisinisi 'a e Pule'anga;".
