TONGA

CRIMINAL OFFENCES (AMENDMENT) ACT 1999
No. 28 of 1999.

AN ACT
TO AMEND THE CRIMINAL OFFENCES ACT

[15th November, 1999].

BE IT ENACTED by the King and Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Criminal Offences (Amendment) Act 1999.

(2) The Criminal Offences Act (Cap. 18), as amended, is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

2. The Principal Act is amended by inserting the following as section 83A:

"83A. Sections 82 and 83 do not apply to any game played pursuant to a licence obtained under any legislation."

Passed by the Legislative Assembly this 15th day of November, 1999.
