CUSTOMS AND EXCISE (AMENDMENT) ACT

AN ACT
TO AMEND THE CUSTOMS AND EXCISE ACT 1983

[15th June, 1989.]

BE IT ENACTED by the King and the Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1. – (1) This Act may be cited as the Customs and Excise (Amendment) Act 1989.

(2) The Customs and Excise Act 1983, as amended, is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

2. Schedule 1 of the Principal Act is amended by deleting the rates of duty for the items set out below and inserting the new rates of duty as set out hereunder:
