THE 1987-88 DEVELOPMENT FUND SUPPLEMENTARY
APPROPRIATION ACT 1989

AN ACT
TO LEGALISE CERTAIN PAYMENTS MADE IN THE YEAR 1987-88 IN EXCESS OF EXPENDITURE SANCTIONED BY THE 1987-88 DEVELOPMENT FUND APPROPRIATION ACT 1987.

BE IT ENACTED by the King and Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1. This Act may be cited for all purposes as The 1987-88 Development Fund Supplementary Appropriation Act 1989.

2. The sum of money set forth in the schedule hereto having been expended for the services therein mentioned beyond the amounts granted for these services by the Act passed for making provision for the expenditure of the Kingdom for the year ended the thirtieth day of June one thousand nine hundred and eighty eight the same are hereby declared to have been duly and necessarily paid, laid out and expended for the services of the Kingdom in that year and are hereby approved, allowed and granted in addition to the amounts mention for these services in the Act aforesaid.

Passed in the Legislative Assembly this 10th day of September, 1989.
