SOLOMON TELEKOM (LIMITATION OF LIABILITY) ACT

10 of 1989

AN ACT TO LIMIT THE LIABILITY OF SOLOMON TELEKOM COMPANY LIMITED, ITS SERVANTS OR AGENTS

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Solomon Telekom (Limitation of Liability) Act.

Limitation of liability

2. Where the company incorporated under the name of Solomon Telekom Company Limited (“the company”), its servants or agents incur any civil liability to any person arising directly or indirectly out of the supply or failure to supply any telecommunication service or service ancillary to it, the loss or damage recoverable in respect of that liability shall not exceed the amount (if any) of the charge paid or payable by that person to the company for the supply of the service.
