*Although the FFA convention has not been amended yet, the 56th Forum Fisheries Committee agreed to change the name of the agency and to adopt the practice of referring to the agency as the "Pacific Islands Forum Fisheries Agency". However, the acronym commonly used to refer to the "Pacific Islands Forum Fisheries Agency" is FFA, not SPFFA or PIFFA
