ARRANGEMENT OF SECTIONS.

INDEPENDENT STATE OF PAPUA NEW GUINEA.


AN ACT

entitled

Additional Appropriation (Recurrent Expenditure 2005) Act 2005,

Being an Act to grant and apply out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund an additional sum for the General Public Services for recurrent expenditure for the year ending 31 December, 2005 and to appropriate the supplies granted for that year and for related

MADE by the National Parliament.

  1. GRANT OF K593,900,000.00.

Subject to authorization from the Minister, the Secretary for Treasury may issue out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund and apply for the Services of the General Public Services for the financial year ending 31 December, 2005 the sum of K593,900,000.00.

  1. APPROPRIATION.

Sums granted by this Act out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund for all the services of the General Public Service of the financial year ending 31 December, 2005 are appropriated for the purposes and services expressed in the Schedule in relation to the financial year ending 31 December, 2005.

  1. ADJUSTMENT OF APPROPRIATION FOR NEW SERVICES AND AS BETWEEN SERVICES.

Where there is insufficient or no appropriation to meet recurrent expenditure for a particular service, the Minister may direct the allocation through the Secretary’s Advance, provided that the total allocation shall not exceed a sum of K593,900,000.00 provided under Division 207.

  1. DIRECTION TO BE AVAILABLE TO AUDITOR GENERAL.

A copy of each direction under Section 3 shall be made available to the Auditor General as soon as practicable after the end of fourth quarter of the financial year ending 31 December, 2005.
