AN ACT

to amend the International Business Companies Act 1994

1 Short title

(1) This Act may be cited as the International Business Companies (Amendment) Act 1998.

2 Section 104 of the International Business Companies Act 1994 amended

(1) Section 104 of the International Business Companies Act 1994 is amended-

(a) by omitting "There shall be paid" and substituting "(1) There shall be paid"; and

(b) by omitting paragraphs (f), (g), (h) and (i); and

(c) by adding the following subsection at the end of the section-

"(2) No fee is payable to the Registrar on the issue of a certificate of continuation under section 84(1)(d) or 85(3)(b).".

The Niue Assembly passed this Act on the 29th day of July 1998.
