Accommodation Registration (Amendment) Act 2007

REPUBLIC OF NAURU

(No. 7 of 2007)

AN ACT

To increase the bed tax.

ENACTED by the Parliament of Nauru

SHORT TITLE

1. This Act is the Accommodation Registration (Amendment) Act 2007.

PRINCIPAL ACT

2. The Accommodation Registration Act 2006 is called the principal Act.

INCREASE IN BED TAX

3. Subsection 12(3) of the principal Act is amended by substituting for the express ‘$5’ - ‘$10’.

EFFECTIVE DATE

4. This Act has effect from 1 July 2007.
