Enacted by the Parliament of Nauru as follows:

1 Short title

This Act may be cited as the Audit (Amendment) Act 2015.

2 Commencement

This Act commences upon certification by the Speaker.

3 Act Amended

The Schedule amends the Audit Act 1973.

SCHEDULE - AMENDMENT OF AUDIT ACT 1973

[1] Multiple amendments

1.1 The Act is amended by omitting the words, 'Director of Audit' wherever they appear and replacing them with the words, 'Auditor General'.

1.2 Any reference in the Constitution of Nauru to the Director of Audit shall be a reference to the Auditor General as amended under this Act.

1.3 Any reference in any other law to the Director of Audit shall be a reference to the Auditor General as amended under this Act.
