AN ACT TO AUTHORISE SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION OF MONIES OUT OF THE CONSOLIDATED FUND FOR RECURRENT EXPENDITURE FOR THE SERVICE OF THE YEAR ENDING 31ST DECEMBER 1982

Commencement: September 1982

MADE by the Maneaba ni Maungatabu and assented to by the Beretitenti.

Short Title

1. This Act may be cited as the Supplementary Appropriation Act, 1982.

Authorisation of issue of $600,000 from the Consolidated Fund

2. The issue from the Consolidated Fund is hereby authorised of $600,000 to be applied for recurrent expenditure to the service of the year ending on 31st December, 1982.

Appropriation

3. The sum specified in Section 2 shall be appropriated for the supply of the Head of Expenditure specified in Column 1 of the Schedule annexed to this Act.

SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION (NO. 1) ACT, 1982

EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM

(1) This Act charges upon the Consolidated Fund an amount estimated to be required by way of additional subsidy to the Air Tungaru Corporation for the current year ending 31st December 1982. The additional subsidy is required in respect of recurrent expenditure for such year and for partial repayment of debts, owed to creditors.
