WAGES REGULATIONS (MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY) ORDER, 1986 (LIFTING OF SUSPENSION) DECREE, 1991

A DECREE TO LIFT THE SUSPENSION PLACED ON THE WAGES REGULATIONS (MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY) ORDER, 1986 AND, TO ACCORDINGLY REPEAL THE WAGES REGULATIONS (MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY) ORDER, 1986 (SUSPENSION) ACT, 1986.

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon me as the President of the Sovereign Democratic Republic of Fiji and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and, acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet, I hereby make the following Decree:

Short title and commencement

1. This Decree may be cited as the Wages Regulations (Manufacturing Industry) Order, 1986 (Lifting of Suspension) Decree, 1991 and shall come into force on the date it is signed by his Excellency the President.

Interpretation

2. In this Decree:

"Act No. I of 1986" means the Wages Regulations (Manufacturing Industry) Order, 1986 (Suspension) Act, 1986.

"Minister" means the Minister for Employment and Industrial Relations’.

"Order" means the Wages Regulations (Manufacturing Industry) Order, 1986.
