TERMINATION OF CONTRACTS OF EMPLOYMENT (PUBLIC SERVICE SENIOR EXECUTIVE SERVICE) PROMULGATION 2007

(INTERIM CIVILIAN GOVERNMENT PROMULGATION NO. 4)

IN exercise of the powers vested in the Interim Government, and upon the de establishment of the former ministries under which such contracts were entered, and whereas it is necessary and also expedient in the interest of the people of Fiji to forthwith terminate the Contracts of Employment of each Chief Executive in the Public Service, I, Josefa Iloilovatu Uluivuda, President of the Republic of the Fiji and acting on the advice of the Cabinet, made this Promulgation.

Short Title and Commencement

1. The Promulgation may be cited as the Termination of Contracts of Employment (Public Service Senior Executive Service) Promulgation 2007. It comes into force immediately upon its enactment.

Termination of all contracts of Employments of Chief Executive Officers in the Public Service

2. The Contract of Employment of every Chief Executive Officer in the Public Service is forthwith repudiated and terminated.
