SUPREME COURT (AMENDMENT) RULES, 1985

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon me by subsection (2) of section 25 of the Supreme Court Act, I have made the following Rules-

Short title and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Supreme Court (Amendment) Rules, 1985, and shall come into force on the 1st day of November 1985.

Amendment of Order 53

2. Order 53 contained in Appendix 1 of the Supreme Court Rules is amended-

(a) by deleting the words "or District" in paragraph (3) of rule 3 and in paragraph (2) of rule 9; and

(b) by adding the following rule immediately after rule 11-

"12. No application for judicial review shall be made other than in the Principal. Registry.".
