Rewa Rice Limited ( Amendment) (No. 1) Decree 1992

DECREE NO. 22 OF 1992

REWA RICE LIMITED (AMENDMENT) (NO. 1) DECREE 1992

A DECREE TO AMEND THE REWA RICE LIMITED DECREE 1991

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as President of the Sovereign Democratic Republic of Fiji and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet, I hereby make the following Decree:

Short title

1. This Decree may be cited as the Rewa Rice Limited (Amendment) (No.1) Decree 1992.

Interpretation

2. In this Decree, unless the context otherwise requires, "the Decree" means the Rewa Rice Limited Decree 1991.

Section 3 amended

3. Section 3 of the Decree is repealed and replaced by the following:

"The Minister is hereby authorized to guarantee on behalf of Government the issuance of bonds and promissory notes not exceeding one million and nine hundred thousand dollars over eight years to be raised by Rewa Rice Limited."
