REPUBLIC OF FIJI MILITARY FORCES ACT

REPUBLIC OF FIJI MILITARY FORCES (PEACE KEEPING ALLOWANCE) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) REGULATIONS 2006

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 42 of the Republic of Fiji Military Force Act, I make these Regulations -

Citation, Etc

1.-(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Republic of Fiji Military Force (Peace Keeping Allowance) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2006.

(2) The revised peace keeping allowances are set out to cover a three year period (2006-2009) to be effective from 14th March 2006.

(3) The peacekeeping allowances only apply to military personnel serving in overseas missions in Iraq (1FIR - UNAMI) and Sinai (2FIR - MFO).

Schedule replaced

2. The Schedule to the Republic of Fiji Military Force (Peace Keeping Allowance) Regulations is revoked and substituted by the following Schedule.
