AN ACT

TO AMEND THE PARLIAMENTARY RETIREMENT ALLOWANCES DECREE, 1989

ENACTED by the Parliament of Fiji -

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Parliamentary Retirement Allowances (Amendment) Act, 1994.

Parliamentary Retirement Allowances Decree, 1989 amended

2. The Parliamentary Retirement AllowancesDecree,1989 is amended in graph"(c)" of subsection "(1)" of Section 2 by deleting the words "Prime Minister" and substituting the words "Prime Minister except if he opts for an annual pension or allowance under any other law".

Passed by the House of Representatives this Tenth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand, nine hundred and ninety-four.

Passed by the Senate this Eighth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand, nine hundred and ninety-four.
