AN ACT

TO PRESCRIBE THE NUMBER OF PUISNE JUDGES

ENACTED by the Parliament of Fiji-

Short title

l. This Act may be cited as the Prescription of Judges Act, 1997.

Prescription of number of puisne judges

2. The number of Puisne Judges of the High Court shall be not more than ten.

Repeal

3. The Prescription of Judges Act, 1971 is hereby repealed.

Passed by the House of Representatives this twentieth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand, nine hundred and ninety-seven.

Passed by the Senate this twenty sixth day of February, in the: year of our Lord one thousand, nine hundred and ninety-seven.
