TO AMEND THE JUDGES’ REMUNERATION AND EMOLUMENT’S ACT

[5th July 1985]

ENACTED by the Parliament of Fiji -

Short title and commencement

1.-This Act may be cited as the Judges' Remuneration and Emoluments (Amendment) Act, 1985 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 July 1983.

Salaries from 1 July 1983

2. Section 2 of the Judges' Remuneration and Emoluments Act is amended by substituting in subsection (1) the expression "$36,800" for the expression "$36,300" and the expression "$31,300" for the expression "$30,800".

Passed by the House of Representatives this twenty-second day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand, nine hundred and eighty-five.

Passed by the Senate this twenty-first day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand, nine hundred and eighty-five.
