AN ACT

TO AMEND THE GAMBLING TURNOVER TAX DECREE

ENACTED by the Parliament of the Fiji Islands-

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Gambling Turnover Tax Decree (Amendment) Act 2005.

Sections 8A and 8B inserted

2. The Gambling Turnover Tax Decree 1991 is amended by inserting after section 8 the following section-

"Application of the Income Tax Act

8A. Sections 77A and 96A of the Income Tax Act apply to this Decree.".

Passed by the House of Representatives this 10th day of February 2005.

Passed by the Senate this 4th day of March 2005.
