An Act to determine the salaries of Judges

(19 January 1970

BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Assembly of the Cook Islands in Session assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. Short Title and commencement - (1) This Act may be cited as the Salaries of Judges Act 1969.

(2) This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of January 1970.

2. Salary of Chief Judge of High Court - There shall be paid to the Chief Judge of the High Court of the Cook Islands a salary at the rate of six thousand four hundred and ninety-five dollars per annum, and such further sums and allowances as the Executive Council may from time to time decree.
