An Act to amend the Rarotonga Waterworks Ordinance 1960

BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Assembly of the Cook Islands in Session assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. Short Title and commencement

(1) This Act may be cited as the Rarotonga Waterworks Amendment Act 1972 and shall be read with and deemed part of the Rarotonga Waterworks Ordinance 1960 (hereinafter referred to as "the Ordinance").

(2) This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on the first day of April 1972.

2. Water rates

Subsection (1) of section 8 of the Ordinance is hereby repealed.

This Act is administered in the Public Works Department.
