An Act to amend the Rarotonga Motus (Prohibition of Leases) Act 1981-82

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of the Cook Islands in Session assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. Short Title and commencement - (1) This Act may be cited as the Rarotonga Motus (Prohibition of Leases) Amendment Act 1989-90 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Rarotonga Motus (Prohibition of Leases) Act 1981-82 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act").

(2) This Act shall come into force on a date to be appointed by the Minister and notified by publication in the Gazette.

2. Schedule - The principal Act is hereby amended by deleting the name of the motu "Koromiri" from the Schedule thereto.
