An Act to amend the Civil List Act 1968.

BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Assembly of the Cook Islands in Session assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. Short Title and Commencement

(1) This Act may be cited as the Civil List Amendment Act 1979-80 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Civil List Act 1968 (hereinafter referred to as the "Principal Act")

(2) This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on the thirteenth day of September 1978.

2. Remuneration of Assistant to the Ministers

Section 20D of the Principal Act (as inserted by the Civil List Amendment Act 1969) is hereby amended by omitting the words "one thousand five hundred and sixty" and substituting the words "three thousand and sixty".

This Act is administered in the Legislative Service.
