An Act to amend the Currency Declaration Act 2015-2016

The Parliament of the Cook Islands enacts as follows—

1. Title

This Act is the Currency Declaration Amendment Act 2017.

2. Commencement

This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives assent.

3. Principal Act amended

This Act amends the Currency Declaration Act 2015-2016.

4. Section 7 amended

(1) Section 7(1)(a) is amended by inserting the words “of value equal to, or exceeding the minimum amount;” after the word “currency”.
(2) Section 7(1)(b) is amended by inserting the words “of value equal to, or exceeding the minimum amount;” after the word “currency”.
